Happy 1st Birthday Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

 

 

Hey everyone!  Welcome to my Christmas Eve Jaded Blossom Stamps Happy Birthday Guest Designer day.  I want to wish Jaded Blossom a very Happy 1st Birthday! I'm sure you all have been loving the December Guest Designers projects.  I chose to make some ornaments with my Jaded Blossom Santa Mail Stamps!  I just love this set.  I have used it for so many things it also works great for Elf on a Shelf notes :)

 

I used this ornament recipe but I stamped it with StazOn ink and painted the top with stickles before I baked it.  When it was done cooling I colored it with Tim Holtz Distress Markers & Spectrum Noir Markers.

I plan on leaving this ornament for my boys on the chimney as a gift from Santa!  I hope y'all enjoyed my project!

BAP #43 Candy Cane Elves

I love joining  Creative Kuts BAPS every week.  This week we made candy cane elves!  I was unable to find the fat candy canes so mine wont stand up but its still pretty darn cute.  My 6 year old son picked out the papers & drew the face.  Hope yall like it! If anyone knows where to buy fatter candy canes comment below Ive looked at walmart & cvs with no dice :)

Shrinky Dink Ornaments

Today I had an "AHA" moment when I opened my happy mail from Jaded Blossom !
Since I've been making lots of different ornaments I thought how about one from shrinky dinks?? It worked perfectly! The only problem I had was I accidentally bought the kind that are shiny on bog sides so I couldn't just use anything to color them. I had to use sharpie markers! Tomorrow I plan on buying the other kind so they will be easier to color. Also make sure you use the Stazon ink or the stamp will smudge!

Advent Calendar

It took me a whole month to design all these reg cut files to print & cuts! But all & all I'm pretty proud how it turned out!

Turkey poop/playdo treat

I used Jaded Blossom Stamps an there fancy dies. I just love them they make it so easy to make a set of these for my sons preschool class!

Iphone Docking Station & PKS

I love this free file I recieved as part of a weekly BAP for details go here!  I love it when I actually remember to join this.  I used my PKSC-06 JUNE 2012 for the face.  This file was so easy to put together once I figured out the bottom :)

A special treat from Santa! Tutorial

Recipe:

-4x4 5/8 piece of patterned card stock (I used echo park)

-1 1/8 x 4 5/8 solid contrasting color of card stock

-sentiment

-small box of milk duds

-stamps (I used Jaded Blossom "Santa mail" set)

-glue runner

- paper crimper

Run tape twice around all four sides of the patterned paper

Put the milk dud box in the center of the short end & wrap down

Pinch sides & crimp w- crimper

wrap solid paper around & pop dot sentiment in center!

Day 4: I'm thankful for Wendel McKay! He is a better father than I could ever ask for or would've had. Thank you for always caring for me as your own, listening to me ramble and our time together when we just chill! Thank you for always being so loving I know I can come to you with any situation! Your the best!

I made these cute cards for my sons preschool teachers I kinda got the directions backwards on the first one though! Note to self make sure the patterned paper is the smallest on each side! I'm also going to try and make a silhouette file for it this weekend... Go here for the tutorial I used from Cardz tv stamps! I love this blog!

It's been 2 weeks now since my Mima passed away. 3 days before she died I made her this card on my cameo using my Chomas Creations pen holder. I explained to her how she was my everything.

Halloween fever

Dylan is having Halloween fever and wants me to make things for him on my cameo! Here is a file I downloaded from the silhouette store of a 3d spider....ooooh scary!

Silhouette Cameo Print & Cut

I have had my cameo for about 6 months now! We have had a love hate relationship since I purchased the machine. Mainly because the print & cut feature worked for me at first and then wouldn't work again...well today I love it again because I was able to make this cute Frankenstein. I also made this file folder birthday card from the Echo Park "this & that" collection, I just love how it turned out but it was really small :)

EXCITED! Just ordered the new Cameo Print & Cut

So i just got some of my cricut carts sold and invested in a Cameo Print & Cut!  I cant wait to get it...now if I can just learn the MTC software....
